Rural
The Rural, or Barrio Suite, is a representation of true Filipino heart and soul. Originating from the annual countryside fiestas that honored patron saints, the celebratory spirit is alive with dances portraying a sense of community, love, and appreciation for not just each other but also the simple things in life.
Itik Itik
An energic folk dance that mimics the movements of ducks. It prominently uses short choppy steps and wavy arms to illustrate how ducks fly, wad, and splash water.
Gayong-Gayong
A festive courtship dance consisting of playful kicking and hopping. The song lyrics, in which the dance was adapted from, tell the story of a feast where a man almost died choking on food due to his big appetite.
